My name is Robbi Duda and I have been a nurse since 1978. I started as an LPN and in 1986 I finished a BSN - RN from the University of Michigan Magna Cum Laude. In 1992, I completed an Associates Degree in Small Business Management and then in 1997 obtained a Masters of Science degree from the University of Michigan in Community & Occupational Health Nursing.

As an American Nurses Association member, I am an AANC Board Certified Gerontology nurse. I am also an adjunct professor in the UofM School of Nursing and a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society (Rho Chapter), the Michigan Organization of Diabetic Educators, and sit on the University of Michigan Health Systems Infection Control Committee. Additionally, I am the immediate past president of the Michigan Nurses in Business Association, sit on the Board of Directors for Lurie Terrace Retirement Home, UMPNC, and have been MNA-PAC Chair and on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Nurses Association.

In 1998, I founded Nurses Foot Care & Massage Services™. My main goals were two-fold. First, I wanted to focus my career on promoting health, not illness care. I truly enjoy providing health, wellness, and safety counseling especially to older adults. As a Level Two Healing Touch Practitioner, my business has quickly developed into a very successful one and is the most rewarding nursing practice I have ever experienced.

My second goal was to develop an Internet-based business to efficiently train and support other Registered Nurses in their own similar independent nursing practices. In August of 2000 I restructured into NFCS Associates Services, LLC and trained my first Associate Foot Care Nurse. Living close to the University of Michigan's Schools of Business, Information Technology, and Nursing has allowed me the resources to build this state of the art virtual nursing community. This is truly a high-tech business supporting a hands-on, high-touch preventative nursing service!
